Bringing a Gameshow to Chester

The Challenge Point concept first launched in Manchester in August 2023, created by Ed Roberts & David Lock, the team at Breakout Manchester. Now, brothers Mike and Dave Blackwell, along with business partner Ed Roberts, have brought this exciting experience to Chester. As co-owners of Breakout Chester, they saw an opportunity to expand Chester’s entertainment offerings with something completely fresh.

"We’ve always said there weren’t enough fun things to do in Chester," says Mike Blackwell. "We struggled to find new and exciting activities for our team at Breakout, and that inspired us to create something different. We wanted to give people the chance to be the star of their own gameshow—because who hasn’t watched one and thought, ‘I’d smash that’?
